Top tips for creating a winning photo book:
1. We love photo books that tell a story – we like to see how each page unfolds through your photos and text.
2. Be selective in what pictures you include in your photo book – a few carefully chosen photos may tell more of a story than including as many photos as possible.
3. The possibilities are endless – we like seeing all kinds of photo books whether it be wedding, birthday, anniversary, holiday, baby, travel or a portfolio book showing off all your work. Any kind of photo book could win, so why not give our Book of the Month competition a go.

masterpiece, you could win a free Bob Book in
our monthly competition - and get it published

This month's winning book
SOUTH INDIA 2009-2010
by Alex Driver, England
Having been blown away by the sights, sounds and smells of India, I wanted to create something really special for my girlfriend as a memento of our trip. A friend told me that Bob Books produced really high quality hardbacks books and I was impressed by the website and software. I drew a lot of inspiration for the page layouts from previous winners of Book of the Month and put a great deal of effort into trying to balance the pages using a combination of colour, scale and positioning of the images. I'm really happy with the finished product and I think the experience of making the book will affect the way I take pictures in the future.
