This is a portfolio of some of the photos I've taken over the last eight years.

The pictures were taken on my travels in Yorkshire, Europe, Cuba and especially South East Asia. I've chosen them mainly because each one evokes a special memory of particular places and people. With each one I can recall not only the specific occasion but also the way the light fell, and sometimes the sounds and smells and feel of a certain place.

I've included the country and year for most of the shots, sometimes to link them together or distinguish them apart, but mainly to remind myself of exactly where and when I had such good times, meeting some great people in encounters I still remember vividly and fondly.
