1. How long will my order take and how much does delivery cost?

Once your order is with us you can expect to take receipt of your order within 7-10 working days, for photo-paper and large formats books please allow 10-12 working days.

Unfortunately, a guaranteed time of delivery on a requested date is not possible so please place your photobook order in plenty of time. For delivery to Europe please allow an additional four to five days and for delivery outside Europe please allow and additional five to eight days for delivery time.

Your photobook order will be sent out First Class Royal Mail. However, if your order is over 2kgs, it will be sent via couriered service. Deliveries outside Europe will be sent via Royal Mail.

Delivery of your Bob Book is charged at £4.50, with an additional £1.00 added per additional book in your order.

2. How do I use my voucher code?

You will need to enter your voucher code at the time of ordering, just after you have entered your login details in the voucher field. Please note that vouchers are case sensitive and are not valid on our gift vouchers or Flickbooks. Vouchers are not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Only one voucher per order can be redeemed and once an order is placed, we are unable to retrospectively refund vouchers. Please note that there are no refunds made on purchases for less than the chosen amount.

3. Can I send a PDF of a book for you to print?

Currently we are unable to accept PDF files that have been design externally to the Bob Designer software. You will need to complete your Bob Book exclusively within Bob Designer. However, if you wish to follow our design guidelines, you are most welcome to download the design brief PDF from here, then insert your images into the Bob Designer software through to enable your artwork to go through to the production process. Currently we are unable to accept artwork sent to us in any other way.

4. I want to publish my book on the Bob Bookshop. How does it work?

  1. Create your book using Bob Designer. You can download the software from here.
  2. Look out for your Invitation to Publish email and follow the publish link provided. This email should come through shortly after you have ordered your book. If you haven't received this email within 2 hours, please first check your spam folder. If you still cannot locate your email, contact us on askbob@bobbooks.co.uk quoting your order number.
  3. You will be asked to sign in to your Bob Books account and create a nickname if you don't already have one. Then give your book a title and description, select your categories and tags (keywords describing your book), choose your visibility and sales preferences and click Publish. Don't forget to fill in your Author description too. If you have more than one book in your order, you can publish each one by filling in the information for each book.

5. Why can I not find my professional order on the website?

The Bob Books Pro-software is connected to a separate database from our standard account holders and this is not currently linked with our website login. If you don't require a logo free book we recommend using our Bob Designer 3.0 software so you can use the entire features on our website.

6. Can I order books without your logo on?

Yes. You will need to ensure you download and design your book in our Bob Designer Pro version of our software from hereherehere. This software will to allow you to create book without our Bob Books logo located on your final printed product. Please note that all books purchased through the Bob Design Service or the Bob Bookshop will contain the Bob Books logo on the last page.

7. If I am unhappy with my order how can I return it to you?

If your Bob Book has been damaged or you are not completely satisfied, please contact us at askbob@bobbooks.co.uk explaining the issue, within 7 days of receipt of your order. We will investigate your complaint and may ask for additional information from you to help with the investigation. If your objection is warranted we will immediately arrange a free replacement to be printed, this will be sent out standard post. Pending the outcome, your original book must be return to us with the return postage sticker provided to be charged back to us. Please note we will not be able to refund postage for books returned to us by any other means.

8. How do I publish my Pro book in the Bob Bookshop?

Our Pro user database is separate from our standard accounts and is currently not linked to our website. You can still publish your book in the Bob Bookshop if you have purchased your book through the Bob Designer Pro software, but you will first need to create an account on our website using the same email address as used in your Pro account. Once you have created this account, please go back to your "Invitation to publish" email and follow the steps to publish your book online. Please note, that any books sold through the Bob Bookshop will have the Bob Books logo on the last page of the book. If you don't require a logo free book, we suggest that you use our standard software for all your orders as this will allow you full access to the tools on bobbooks.co.uk.

9. What resolution and colour space should my images be when sent to you?

Please use the RGB or sRGB colour format to ensure that the colours will remain as close to your digital photograph as possible. If your photographs are in the CMYK mode, please convert them to RGB.

Bob Books recommends all of your images to be in RGB or sRGB format/space. If your images are in CMYK, please convert them to RGB. We are unable to offer colour or ICC profiles.

10. Do you offer express shipping and which countries do you ship to?

We currently don't offer this service, however we are working on giving you the options in the near future.
