Have you ever thought about a holiday to India? If you’re looking for a destination full of diverse panoramas, stunning landscapes and a vibrant culture, then look no further than this captivating land. You’ll be sure to capture wonderful photos on this holiday of a lifetime.

Golden Triangle

The perfect introduction to India, the popular tourist circuit known as the Golden Triangle gives you a glimpse into the various landscapes and popular attractions that India has to offer. From the bustling city of Delhi, to the home of the Taj Mahal at Agra to the city of Jaipur that sits in the majestic Rajasthani desert; the fabled Golden Triangle tour is the classic route which many tourists choose to follow for a first visit.

A plethora of sights and sounds, Delhi is an ever-growing city that is going through massive economic growth. But it wasn’t always that way. The ancient traditions of Old Delhi have morphed into modern New Delhi, and the entire city is now a tapestry of historical monuments and cultural highlights.

Explore the Mughal architecture of the sandstone Red Fort, gaze out upon Old Delhi from the top of the Jama Masjid mosque and watch a dazzling Bollywood show at the Kingdom of Dreams for the ultimate Delhi adventure.

Agra: The Home of the Taj Mahal

Best known as the location of the iconic Taj Mahal, the historical city of Agra is home to a cornucopia of Mughal architectural delights, which are all designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Start your day early with a sunrise walk at the Taj Mahal: take the perfect photo as the sun rises majestically from behind its marble dome. Completed in 1643 on the instruction of Shah Jahan to commemorate his deceased wife, you can tick this New Wonder of the World from your bucket list before breakfast.

Complete your visit to Agra with visits to Agra Fort and the Tomb of Akbar the Great, and important architectural masterpiece.

The largest city of India’s Rajasthan state, Jaipur is known as the Pink City due to the pink hue of the sandstone used to build its walls. The city’s magnificence is clear to see, from its vibrant handicrafts industry to its diverse architectural wonders that sit within its gated streets.

Its most prominent attraction is the famed Palace of the Winds, or Hawa Mahal. Its pink sandstone outer shell is delicately symmetrical - akin to honeycomb - and is said to blend both Rajput and Mughal styles of architecture. The view from its top storey is certainly impressive: definitely worth a photo or two!

Another must-see is Jaipur’s City Palace, a sprawling complex of royal buildings, gardens and landscaped courtyards. You can spend a lovely afternoon walking its ramparts and museums, snapping as you go.
