For the theme of red, Daniel entered "Oil on Water". The image was an interesting twist on the theme 'red' and the judges liked the abtract quality. Here's what Daniel had to say: "I created this photo by placing a glass Pyrex cooking dish on two tins of paint and filled the dish with about 1cm of water, then I added some olive oil and some red food colouring and gave it a stir. All the oil separates into little balls. Then when the water has settled I took the photo using an 85 mm macro lens on a tripod above the dish. The photo was shot in RAW and has had very little done to it in photoshop. Just converted to JPEG and and is pretty much straight out of camera.
I've used bobbooks for a few books now and would just like to say that the quality and service has been brilliant, so thank you very much." Well done, Daniel! If you've got a fantastic shot you'd like to share, then enter our Photo of the Month competition.
This month's theme is STREET. Good luck!
