Book Description

The Coronavirus Covid-19 Pandemic amongst other things brought an end to my big travel plans - a trip to the Gujarat In India at Easter, Georgia in May and more than likely, to Tanzania in July. Fortunately I live in the spectacular Peak District and making maximum use of our quota of allowed daily outdoor exercise, my wife and I reacquainted ourselves with the outstanding countryside on our doorstep. With no travel photobooks to compose I considered a project recording our lives living in the High Peak as this was my 20th year of being here. I had mused for some time about using images I had taken over the years and decided to use these, along with new stuff. Part of the book : 'Quest for an Owl' turned out to be a project-within-a -project'. The result is my homage to this special part of the UK and a record of part of the unprecedented times we found ourselves in.
