A picture book of Venice that shows the iconic sights of this unique city. Everything that enters Venice, whether food, drink, clothing or building materials has to travel by boat. The refuse and builders rubble has to exit by boat.
The canals are busy not just with tourists in Gondolas but also with the Vaporetta and taxis. Barges transport cement lorries, food and drink deliveries and all manner of goods. Even ambulances and hearses ply the canals.
