Photo of the month

January's theme is 'Neighbourhood'

The last couple of years have shown us how important communities and local neighborhoods are. Whether it's your favourite independent shop, a particulary beautiful building or a photo with your friendly neighbour, we want to see any photos that showcase your neighbourhood.

The winner of each months competition will win a £50 Bob Books Voucher to spend with us. Want some photo tips on making your own photographic portfolio? Read now on our blog.

Congratulations to Elliot Pordes for winning December's competition with his photo 'Frost on Leaf'

This image is probably the most popular street for tourists in my home town of Rye in East Sussex. Normally attracting thousands of visitors each year i managed to capture this at a rare quiet moment.

Allotments at Sunset

While my Dad was unwell at home, I walked to the nearby allotments to collect my thoughts and captured the ramshackle beauty of the allotments near my parents house, including the distinctive Roseberry Topping hill in the background.
