Bob Books offers a variety of services and an ongoing 15% discount to help make creating a photobook for your business or client even easier.
Logo-free photobooks
If you are creating books for clients, we understand that you may not wish for it to have the Bob Books logo printed on the back page. You can create logo-free photobooks being download our Bob Designer Pro software which prints books without our Bob Books logo. It is free to download and we do not charge any extra for the photobooks you make.
You can also create logo-free books with our PDF-to-Book software. Simply generate the templates in InDesign as usual, export as a PDF and upload the files to ur logo-free uploader and your book will be printed without the logo.
Printing from PDFs
The Bob Books PDF to Book software, is an InDesign plug-in that generates the cover and content book templates in Adobe InDesign. This allows Adobe InDesign users to design their book in a software they are familiar with and then export using the Bob Books presets and upload the files.
If you wish to use software other than our PDF to Book software to create your PDF, your files will not be accepted by our uploader. It is still possible to create a Bob Book from your own PDF files. You need to make sure you have produced your files with the correct dimensions, including bleed allowances. Once you have finished designing your book, you then need to export your spreads as Tiffs or Jpegs and place them as background images in our software.

You can design your Bob Book with Pixellu™ SmartAlbums® the photo album design software made especially for professional wedding and portrait photographers. The dimensions of all our photobook formats are now available and when you finish designing your photobook, simply exports your spreads and place them in our software.
Paper Sample pack
Bob Books has six different paper types to choose from for your photo book. You can order our Paper Swatches Pack to help you choose. It contains one colour and one black & white print on each of our 5 paper types, to help you decide which finish would best suit your project.
The pack costs £5 including delivery and you also receive a £10 worth of Bob Reward points in your account.
Professional discounts and Rewards
We offer professionals an ongoing 15% discount off every order you place. You will be able to enter your code to redeem the discount and you will still earn Bob reward points on every order you place.

We also offer an automatic discount on orders of five or more photobooks in the same order. We can in some cases provide a quote and offer a further discount for large volume orders. Please contact info@bobbooks.co.uk with the cover type, paper type, size, number of pages and number of copies you would like to order and we will be happy to provide a quote. Please note that the photobooks must be the exact same format and ordered at the same time to receive the volume discounts.
At Bob Books we like to reward loyalty. You'll earn 4 points for each £1 spent, and each point is worth 1 pence. When you've collected enough points, you can redeem them for money off vouchers to use on your future orders. You can also earn points through our Refer a Friend scheme.
Selling your products
If you are sending your order direct to clients, there is no need to worry about invoice slips, as Bob Books does not include any invoices for orders in which the delivery address is different from the billing address. Please note the order will contain Bob Book packaging so your client will be aware it comes from us.
When you have finished designing your photobook you can choose to publish it in our Online Bookshop, a great place to share or sell your book.You can even set your own author mark-up and earn from your sales.
Presentation boxes
Bob Books currently only offer photographic wrap-around covers. You can choose from paperback and hardback covers, however we do not currently offer leather or linen covers and also do not provide sleeves or dust jackets.
When you order through the Bob Designer software, you can order presentation boxes along with your photobooks. The boxes are available for all book sizes except small landscape and square. The presentation boxes are made of 2mm thick board covered with black linen fabric. They have a dual magnet closure and a red ribbon open tab.

Turn Around and Delivery
Turn around times vary depending on the book format. Production and delivery to the UK is within 10-12 working days for all large landscape books, large portrait books and all photographic paper books. The turn around time for all other books is 7-10 working days. For European orders please allow an additional four to five days and for delivery outside Europe please allow and additional five to eight days for delivery time.
